Reporting and blocking

Tap ••• on any post or listing to report it or block its owner. To report a direct message, long-press it. Blocked accounts can be managed in Settings → Safety → Blocked accounts. Every report is reviewed by a person, and we aim to act on reports within 24 hours.

Membership and billing

Membership is an annual subscription bought through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. To cancel or change plans, open Settings → Manage subscription in the app, or go straight to your Apple ID's subscription settings or Google Play's Payments & subscriptions. Change plans on the platform you subscribed on. Apple and Google handle all payments and refunds; request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play. If you reinstall or switch phones, use Restore purchases on the membership screen or in Settings.

Buying and selling

Black Bay is a community, not a marketplace. We never process payments, hold funds, ship items or take a cut of a sale. Deals are arranged directly between members and are at their own risk. Use a payment method with buyer protection, and report anyone who asks for Friends & Family, gift cards, wire transfer or crypto.

Sellers, buyers and traders are each responsible for making sure a deal is legal where both of them are, including federal and state switchblade law for automatic and OTF knives. Black Bay does not check. See Knife law is your responsibility.

Deleting your account

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, posts, comments, listings and messages. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, so cancel that in your Apple ID settings or Google Play as well. No longer have the app? Request deletion by email.
